Miss McKean is a graduate of Tidioute High School. She attended Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech Communications. She later attended Clarion University of Pennsylvania to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Special Education. She returned to Edinboro University to earn a Master of Arts Degree in Special Education. She worked in the Learning Support Department at Sheffield Middle/Senior High School prior to coming to TCCS. She has been employed at TCCS since the inception of the Charter School. She teaches 7th through 12th Learning Support, which includes English classes, Support classes and inclusion. She is yearbook co-advisor.
